    A short pause

    1. Let your feet meet the floor, or notice whatever is supporting you.
    2. Let your hands rest somewhere easy.
    3. Take one ordinary breath in. As you breathe out, let your shoulders drop a little.
    4. Notice one place where your body is being supported.
    5. Look around and notice one ordinary thing you can see.
    6. Ask yourself: What would make the next ten minutes a little easier?
    7. Choose one small answer, and let that be enough for now.

You do not have to solve the whole day. One small thing that supports you is a place to begin.

    Come back to yourself, gently.
